What We Collect

When you use retropizzahut.com, we may collect the following information:

• Submitter name and email address — collected only if you voluntarily provide them when submitting a location. Your name may appear publicly as credit on a published listing. Your email is private and is used only to notify you about the status of your submission.
• IP address — logged for spam prevention, rate limiting (to prevent submission flooding), and flag deduplication (to prevent the same user from flagging the same location repeatedly). IP addresses are not published.
• Uploaded photos — photos you submit are stored in our file storage system. By submitting a photo, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on this site (see Terms of Use).
• Usage and analytics data — we use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic. This is privacy-respecting analytics that does not use cookies or track you across sites.
• Advertising cookies — if Google AdSense is active on this site, Google may set cookies to serve personalized advertisements. You can opt out of personalized ads via Google's ad settings.

How We Use It

• Submitter name: displayed publicly on approved location listings as attribution.
• Submitter email: sent one confirmation email on submission and one notification if the location is approved. Never used for marketing or shared with third parties.
• IP addresses: used only for rate limiting and deduplication. Purged periodically.
• Photos: displayed on location pages and potentially in social media previews for those pages.

This site uses the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Supabase — database and file storage (supabase.com)
• Vercel — hosting and analytics (vercel.com)
• Mapbox — map rendering and address geocoding (mapbox.com)
• Google AdSense — advertising (google.com/adsense)
• Cloudflare Turnstile — spam protection on the submission form (cloudflare.com)
• Resend — transactional email delivery (resend.com)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

Data Retention

Submission records (including email addresses) are retained as long as this site operates. You may request deletion of your submission data by contacting us at the email below. Approved location listings may remain on the site after a submission is deleted.
